Mentor Teacher Program

CalTeach lower-division classes at UC Merced include a total of 30 hours of fieldwork where students are placed in a local K-12 classroom. We recognize the importance to allow our CalTeach students to work with K-12 students as part of their undergraduate experience to prepare them as future educators.

Summer Teacher Institute 

CalTeach is offering free virtual and in-person professional development opportunities for K-12 teachers through generous funding from EECU.In collaboration with CCBM Webinars, and as part of the National Science Foundation (NSF) funded center's outreach mission and in partnership with CalTeach at UC Merced, CCBM will offer free STEM webinars for k-12 teachers at no cost via zoom.

CalTeach System-Wide Webinar 

As many schools and districts transitioned to remote learning, the University of California Merced, CalTeach program created a new system-wide initiative: CalTeach System-Wide Tech Webinars! We hosted free webinars for all K-12 teachers and all of our workshops were recorded and available on our YouTube channel.
