Elementary School Offerings (open to 3rd-5th grade students)
Eligibility: Students entering 3rd grade in Fall 2026 and students entering 6th grade in Fall 2026 are eligible to attend elementary academies!
*Academies for K-2nd grade will not be offered this summer.
*MCSD Students- Merced City School District has purchased seats for MCSD students in each Elementary and Middle School academy.
Registration will be completed through MCSD’s 6Crickets system (not BSA general registration), which is expected to open in early April.
Seats are available on a first-come, first-served basis. If seats fill, students will be placed on a waitlist and may be offered a seat if openings occur on Day 1, Session

Planet Lab: Exploring the Earth in Action!

Dive into Earth as one powerful, connected system! Explore how the atmosphere, hydrosphere, geosphere, and biosphere interact through the water cycle, weather, oceans, climate, and climate change. Through hands-on investigations and real-world challenges, students discover how our planet works—and how we can protect it.
Young Engineers Academy

Future engineers dive into the world of mechanical design, materials science, energy systems, and circuitry. Through hands-on builds and real-world challenges, students design, test, and improve their own creations while exploring how things move, power up, and work together. Innovation starts here!

Fizz and Bubble Lab: Investigate Reactions and Discover Chemistry!

The Microscopic Wonders Lab

Step into the hidden world of biology! Students explore cells, DNA, traits, heredity, and ecosystems through hands-on investigations and interactive models. From microscopic structures to entire living systems, young scientists uncover how life works, connects, and thrives.
Math Explorers: From Numbers to Fractions
(Best for students in fourth grade and above)

Dates: July 13th - July 17th, 2026 (M-F)
Numbers come to life in this hands-on math adventure! Students build foundational skills in place value, explore multiplication and division patterns, and develop confidence with fractions, mixed numbers, decimals, and number lines. Through watercolor art, homemade playdough, and real-world experiments, young mathematicians discover that math is creative, colorful, and everywhere.
